Bet Lahem Live Festival

6th - 9th AUGUST, 2015 BETHLEHEM, PALESTINE

A juggler entertaining the crowds in Bethlehem, Palestine

The third annual Bet Lahem Live Festival runs from Thursday 6th - Sunday 9th August 2015 in Bethlehem and we're looking for volunteers to join us.

More than a Festival, Bet Laham Live is part of a global movement of faith, culture and justice. The event is organised by our partners in Palestine, Holy Land Trust

The Amos Trust group will be a mix of UK artists performing in the festival, volunteers keen to get involved, and people taking the opportunity to experience the situation in Bethlehem first-hand.

Last year’s festival took place during the immediate aftermath of the disappearance of three Israeli teenagers, and since then the war in Gaza and the occupation continue to dominate the lives of Palestinians.

Bet Lahem Live is an opportunity for the local community in Bethlehem and the surrounding areas to gather together and to unite in peaceful protest against the occupation using art, music and dance.

For more information about how you can volunteer at this year's festival, please visit the Amos website.

The evening will start at 6pm with a free glass of wine and nibbles followed by a brief presentation about Amos' Street Child projects and then the auction itself.
