The Great Gatsby

It's finally here Australia!

After much anticipation, The Great Gatsby has screened across the world and now opens in Australia on May 30th.

Cinematographer Simon Duggan (ACS) reminisces:

"Panavision has an amazing team of technicians and engineers who prepped and fine tuned all of our 3D equipment, often making custom modifications and working many "all-nighters" so we were ready for the next day’s shoot. The Great Gatsby would not have run as smoothly without their dedicated support throughout, thank you to all the crew at Panavision"

The Great Gatsby is proudly supported by Panavision Australia and our enthusiastic team. Here's what some had to say:

Electronics Engineer, Peter Lorz

"It’s been an amazing experience for us working with the crew from Gatsby, configuring their 3Ality Rig systems, getting their wireless rig communication working smoothly and generally being involved with such an intricate shoot."

Operations Manager, John Herbert

"The Great Gatsby had over 10,000 individual equipment movements, from Angeniuex’s to zoom controls. That is the equivalent of coordinating 83 commercials or 3 times more equipment than Baz’s last feature film, so you could say it was quite an EPIC (pun intended) achievement for everyone at Panavision."
