Have you signed the National Communications Charter? ![]() ![]() Call-out for participants to engage in suicide prevention researchResearchers from the Australian Institute for Suicide Research and Prevention at Griffith University are seeking those who have experienced suicidal thoughts and/or behaviours to participate in an online survey to assess the link between help-seeking intentions, personal suicide stigma, suicide literacy and past experiences of suicide. Researchers from the Black Dog Institute are seeking male participants over 18 years of age who have experienced thoughts of ending their life and/or have made plans or attempts in the past 12 months. This will inform a new research study to capture the experiences of men who have tried to access support from mental health services and found it did not meet needs, or men who believe there is something stopping them from reaching out altogether.
