Dear Supporters,
We are engaged in several efforts to help wild horses and burros. Our litigation is active in areas of First Amendment issues, unjustified removals and against inhumane treatment. WHE is engaged against the Nevada Association of Counties (NACO) effort to remove wild horses and to destroy wild horses in holding and on the range. We have field work. We also have our rescue efforts.
We have an opportunity to expand our rescue efforts with your help. We have located a property that has ten acres. We know it is not an overly large space but it is perfect to be reay to help wild horses and burros that are likely to be in jeopardy as the drought situation worsens.
We must however build fencing and shelters. Just click the button in this news letter to help us build a fence. If you prefer to help us with expenses associated with litigation that is appreciated as well. To do that just go to our donations page and choose how you want to help by clicking the large image of captured yearlings at the bottom of this page.
As things intensify in Nevada we must be ready on all fronts. We can not accomplish this work without you. Thank you~ Laura Leigh, President Wild Horse Education
