Family, Fun, & Faith BROUGHT TO YOU BY THE FAMILY LIFE COMMITTEE It was the Christmas season, and Dad and Holly were setting up the nativity scene under the Christmas tree. Dad thoughtfully held a couple of the figurines in his hands and said to his little girl,
“You know, every person involved in the Christmas story was filled with hope.” “What do you mean,” asked Holly, looking at the figurines in her father’s hands. “Well, take the shepherds for instance. They had hope that the promised Savior would be coming soon. They liked to talk about it together and pray for Him to come. And then when the angel told them that He had in fact been born, right there in Bethlehem, they had hope for their future and the future of their people.” —Diane Helbley Read More
