Recommendations for general practice Routine HB vaccination series is only indicated for individuals who are currently in Grade 7 and must be completed before the student starts Grade 9. Niagara Region Public Health and Emergency Services will only release the routine HB vaccine for students in this age group. Order vaccine for these students using the School Program Vaccine Order Form. High risk eligibility criteria for HB vaccine is outlined in Table 3 on the Publicly Funded Immunization Schedules for Ontario (see below).
