Summer Worship on the Journey

Starts June 16th!

Come celebrate with others on Sunday mornings at the Coralville shelter just off Camp Cardinal Avenue starting at 8:30 a.m. We'll begin with a short (15 min) outdoor worship as we share in prayer, listen to some scripture and other writings, be offered a thought to contemplate or discuss and then...

...run or walk or stay and meditate in the beauty of God's creation.

Bring your own chair if you want to sit during the worship or for meditation. And of course, it is casual (or exercise) attire.

Companions for the Journey

It doesn't matter what shoes you wear, the distance you travel, or the pace you set, you are invited to share in the morning with others who are exploring a different expression of the Sacred One.

Here is the beauty of God's abundance: someone is at a similar spot on the journey as you. Whether you want to sit and contemplate The Presence; be mindful on a one mile walk or a ten mile run; or share in the beauty of a forest flower with your children, God is present in the moment.

Where We Will Gather

Camp Cardinal Trailhead Facilities

719 Camp Cardinal Boulevard in Coralville

The Camp Cardinal Trailhead is located on the north side of Clear Creek, just east of Camp Cardinal Boulevard. The trailhead features restrooms, shelter, an information kiosk, parking, and a ramp for access to Clear Creek by small water craft. It is adjacent to the 4.3 mile Clear Creek Trail.

An opportunity to share in communion will be offered each week. A team is needed to design the experience, provide the bread and juice, and serve the elements to anyone who wants to participate. Email me!
