Light and Shadow

A joint exhibition by Monique Clift and Cheryl Edwards showing at Bunjil Place Library Art Space until Sunday 9 April.

Long-time friends Monique and Cheryl have always shared a love of art and design.  Both originally coming from a background in ceramics, they have forged new directions in their art practice. Their latest exhibition Light and Shadow is an exploration of these themes across a range of mediums. In Cheryl's work, glass and light are intertwined, the perfect medium to explore form, pattern and the intricacies of transparent and opaque glass. Monique’s mixed media works reflect childhood memories, craft and personal symbols.  Her images often capturing sun-drenched scenes cast with playful shadows.
