EOA Member Event - Using Employee Equity during the COVID-19 Pandemic and EOA Advocacy Update ​

Members will also be hearing an update on EOA’s advocacy efforts, with a focus on EOA’s response to the recent parliamentary Inquiry into the Tax Treatments of Employee Share Plans.

9am - 9.30am | A conversation with EOA Board members Andrew Clements and Marc Bosotti on EOA’s advocacy efforts.

EOA recently made a submission and appeared at the public hearing for the Inquiry into the Tax Treatments of Employee Share Plans.

Andrew and Marc will be reflecting on how the submission was received and what impact this might have on EOA members and employee ownership in Australia more broadly. 

9.30am - 10am | A Q&A with Jo McLellan, Head of Tax at Domain, facilitated by EOA Board members Tom McCarty and Micaela Costello.

Domain recently offered share rights to employees in a move to retain staff and manage their cost base during the economic downturn caused by COVID-19.

Jo will be discussing the details behind this innovative strategy and the impact it has had on Domains capacity to operate during the pandemic.
