Enjoy your HOT Organic Porridge to shudder off the chill in the morning with our special offer valid for the month of February.

Simply add the porridge into a saucepan and stir in milk or water and bring to the boil,. Simmer for 3 – 4 minutes stirring constantly. Alternatively microwave for 3 minutes stirring after a minute.

Then flavour to suit by adding sugar, honey, syrup, stewed fruit, raisins or even chocolate!

227g/8oz Porridge
50g/1.8oz Barkat Bread Mix
50ml Boiling Water
145g/5oz Butter
170g/6oz Demerara Sugar

 

METHOD:
1. Put the porridge into mixing bowl. Add boiling water to soften
2. Melt Butter
3. Add Sugar and Barkat Bread Mix to Porridge
4. Add melted butter and mix together
5. Place mixture into a well greased baking tray ad press down until smooth
6. Bake at 180C or 350F or gas mark 4 for 20 minutes or until golden brown
7. Allow to cool and then cut into fingers or squares
