News from DRG No images? Click here The New Office Landscape In a recently posted article by the New York Times the future of the office is yet again examined. This time around with more concentration on what is here to stay, what will evolve and what will disappear. Here to stay is the office space itself. Now with a purpose to be used as a hub for face-to-face interaction, collaboration, employee training and the promotion of company culture. What will evolve? The use of hot desks, fewer workstations and expanded gathering areas with furniture that can be easily reconfigured and moved as needs change. Manufactures such as Watson and Great Openings offer mobile pedestals so you can take your office with as you “hotel” to different desk locations. OFS covers the mobile furniture with the Heya lounge and screen collection while JSI’s LOK tables can used anywhere for anything. Say goodbye to floor decals promoting 6’ of separation and signs promoting “self-cleaning” elevator buttons and virus-zapping technologies like ionization and ultraviolet light. Offices will remain safe with less touch points and instead use mobile apps, sensors and voice controls for basic building functions. Good, bad or indifferent? Either way DRG has the right connections to align your office to your employees. Click here to see product images that support a safe workspace and new storage ideas.
