- Thankfulness for the generosity of people who have provided support with funds for the purchase of land in Phnom Penh, Cambodia
- For the pastors and people of the Lutheran Church in Cambodia

128 years of the Lutheran Church in PNG

An estimated 2000 people gathered in worship in Lae, Papua New Guinea (PNG) on 13th July this year, to celebrate God’s blessings at the annual ELCPNG Sunday. The preacher at this special service, held on the grounds of Martin Luther Seminary, was LCA pastor, Matthias Prenzler.

This celebration marks the arrival of missionary, Johann Flierl, to Simbang, PNG on 12 July 1886. You can read Pastor Matthias Prenzler’s story as he shared the message with the brothers and sisters of ELCPNG.
