Hi,
This is a brief note to let you know that the planned shutdown of Pencil Case and pencilcaseapp.com is scheduled for the end of 2016.
Ultimately, Pencil Case has not developed into a strong enough product and because of this I've made the difficult decision to withdraw it. I'm very grateful for the support it has received since it launched, and for meeting lots of great and generous people and companies along the way. It has been a truly enjoyable experience.
After 2016, the website will be taken offline and all data will be removed. The iOS app has already been withdrawn from the App Store.
I wish you good luck as you continue your journey as a designer/developer and thank you again for your support.
