So there you have it, ten years have passed since Wash opened its doors back in 2003 and the world of graphic communication and brand marketing has seen an incredible amount of change. We’ve evolved with that change, but to make sure we’re ready for the next ten years we thought it was time for a step change in our thinking. So we are overhauling our business, we are refining our expertise and crerating a new website to support our proposition... and hopefully having a party if we ever get the chance to get anything organised. It’s becoming one of those years.
We’ll still be Wash, just better looking and with a smarter vision to help create smarter clients. So keep an eye out for our new website and please get in touch for a catch up if you haven’t already - come and see how we’ve changed.
But that’s the future - please take 5 and take a look of what we’ve been up to in the not so distant past in this latest news feed.

Miureya is a brand new business venture headed up by a lovely couple based in Southampton. Their objective is to be one of the most contemporary Estate Agents in the South if not the country eventually - dealing only in properties of a very high standard, price and of architectural interest.
Our objective was to develop a brand that broke the mould when it came to estate agents. We think we did this. A new logo created, stationery and stage one website helped get the business off the ground with the right image from the off.

The Clifton Arms Hotel required a complete refresh of their brand, but a hark back to their heritage was desired. This project also ran alongside a complete re-fit of the hotel that was trying to get back to it’s colonial roots and inject a bit of that Victorian feel but without looking too old fashioned. A heritage brand with a contemporary feel.
We based the new logo/mark on various aspects that had been carved in stone in and around the building when originally built.
From this we developed all their stationery and internal communication collateral, new signage, directed some new photography and developed a new website. The Full Monty.

Another youth group ‘co-design’ project for Wash - we really enjoy doing these as they are such fun, and it’s wonderful to see the young people have such enthusiasm for the design process.
This particular project was for the Lancashire Music Education Services, part of Lancashire County Council. Our mission was to create a new brand/logo/name working with a group of young ‘ambassadors’ from various schools and youth groups from around Lancs.
We hosted a series of 4 workshops on naming and visual execution, the logo below was the outcome with more activity to follow.

www.du.co is the shortest URL we have ever come up with, but it worked out really well for Duco who provide hosted services that simplify complex data problems. It’s mission is to enable businesses to establish control points and electronic communication links quickly and flexibly, without being delayed by legacy problems or long integration projects.
Wash headed up the naming process, design and delivery of the new brand consisting of the logo/mark, stationery requirements and ‘stage one’ website design and build.

Suresite have provided Risk Assessments and Training to the Petroleum industry since 1994. With the expansion into providing Card Services 7 years ago, the Suresite team felt that in order to continue developing the business and providing identity to each department within the group, it was important to find a solution that created a common image with a twist of individuality.
This is were Wash came in to create an identity that would bring this organisation into the modern age, with a fresh new logo/mark and website.

D’Montt an Equestrian Centre that were starting from the ground up. They required a quality brand and logo/mark to be used across all their marketing material, but needed it to be easily embroidered and debossed into leather garments and Equestrian wear range used at Show Jumping events.
The logo needed to be bold and strong yet with an elegance. The logo/mark was created from the type face ITC Cheltenham used for the naming.
We also wanted to create some drama to the accompanying photography along with creating strength and elegance. Luckily for us, we had a lousy summer enabling us to choose a day that had plenty of drama in the skies.
We needed lots of patience on the day, due to rain, wind, the horses not liking the flash heads and Andy’s allergic reaction to horse hair.

Preston People Panorama is the result of a creative collaboration between Dovetail and award-winning photographer and self confessed ‘panorama obsessive’, Jan Chlebik. Over six months, Jan took more than 80 panoramic shots of Preston groups, communities and landmarks as a social and artistic record of Preston in and around Guild Year 2012.
The outcome, an iconic photo series, providing an historic cultural snapshot and an extraordinary exhibition held at the Museum of Lancashire, February to May 2013 that Wash helped to brand and dress.

That over the last 6 months months Wash have created over fifteen successful new brand identities and brand development strategies for businesses and organisations. Helping each and every one of those organisations to grow and develop. With these businesses having made a long term investment and not created a quick fix, consiquently these design changes are having a big impact on their bottom line.

As an agency who are very much brand focussed, did you know we now have our own in-house digital development team who specialise in WordPress open source content management system amongst others, such as Joomla and Megento.
As many are aware we’ve always worked on-line since we started back 2003, but it wasn’t our core focus, so we opted to team up with some great players in the industry over the years. However, being a team that is heavily focussed on brand, we felt something was being lost behind the smoke and mirrors many ‘digital companies’ like to hide behind. Building our own digital team has now put us in a much stronger position to work with companies that realise that maybe they too have something missing from their on-line presence. It’s enabled us to properly manage a fully integrated brand experience. But also remove the smoke and mirrors for our clients.
Additional Digital Services now include:
– Brand Integration
– Responsive Design
– Content Strategy
– Information Architecture
– Web Build
– Hosting Packages
– Maintenance Support
– Email Marketing
– SEO
– Pay Per Click
– Mobile & App Development
– Motion Graphics
