Homecoming and Family Weekend Success!

The weekend of October 7-9 was filled with activities for all ages with more than 1,550 people on campus. A highlight included the Fall Festival and Girl Named Tom concert Saturday afternoon. Athletic events kicked off the afternoon along with EMU TenTalks, food trucks, kids' activities and yard games - the campus was hopping!  It was a roaring good time! 

Visual arts students contribute

Four Eastern Mennonite University digital media and communications students, contributed to a new documentary video about the use of visual art in worship. Students joined theology graduate students in the project.

Biosecurity research in Australia

The first students funded by a three-year, $300,000 grant from the National Science Foundation spent several weeks this summer on biosecurity research and chemistry education in Australia. They contributed to ongonig research led by chemistry professor Matthew Siderhurst.

EMU Theater presents "The Crucible"

EMU Theater reimagines “The Crucible” as an allegory for today’s society in a soul-searching production that premieres in the Studio Theater this fall. “The Crucible” runs Oct. 28-Nov. 5. Tickets available at the box office. 

Triathletes qualify for nationals

EMU finished in third place as a team and will send all three participants to nationals in November. Tempe, AZ is the location for the Women's Collegiate Triathlon National Championships. See the highlights.

New Track and Field Complex

The current track is urgently in need of replacement to support our student athletes and exemplary coaching staff and to support the robust enrollment goals that our coaching team envisions. Learn more about this exciting new project!
