invite as many family and friends as possible to come and watch!

After States Party
After
the State Championships, of course, you have the States After
Party!
This
year's after party will be held on the ground floor of
the boatshed, more or less as soon as boat unloading
has been completed. Unloading should be done and dusted by 6:30pm
or so on Sunday 19th September.
Rita
Campbell and her team of mighty minions will be providing a BBQ
dinner for $10 per head. It's BYO beverages, and partners are
welcome to attend.
The
night will also feature the traditional fines ceremony, presentation
of the TANK award for 2010, and I believe Andrew Taylor has a
few special surprises in store. (You have been warned.)

Girls Only Row
- Help Required
It's
for fun! Oh, and breakfast! It is hosted by a different club each
year and it’s WESTIES turn.
We invite girl rowers for other clubs, and recreational
and ex-rowers. In fact the only prerequisite is that the participants
know how to row as we don't want to have to teach them on the
day.
As the host club we provide all the boats, oars
and coxswains. Our guests, and those of us not coxing, have a
row for about an hour (Maylands and back) and then all meet upstairs
for breakfast.
It is a great way to get to know rowers form
other clubs and it also raises some funds for the club as each
participant pays $15 to take part.
We get the boys to cook the breakfast so that
we can chat, as girls are known to do so well.
The date for this great event is Sunday Oct
10, starting at 7am.
Anyone who is willing to help out be it girls
for coxing/rowing or guys that are willing to cook breakfast can
you please contact Deb Mason via email debbie15@westnet.com.au
