Living the change ![]() A prayer request from Tim Halls Lois and I are in New Zealand for Thanksgiving with our daughter Emily and her family. We are having a wonderful time with our lovely granddaughters. I need your prayers today because I am preparing for an important responsibility. I will speak at the annual meeting of Missions Interlink NZ this week in Auckland, New Zealand! When you pray, I am confident God listens! Because of your prayers and generosity over the years, I actually might have something to say! I have been an eyewitness to huge changes in how God is fulfilling His promise to bless all the families of the earth. And I have learned to recognize our experiences as part of a unique moment in an unfolding (long) story that the Bible tells. I have experienced and thought a lot about the changes that affect my place in the story, as well as how they affect your place and the place of Brazilians and Latin Americans in it. On the other hand, I haven't thought as much about the place of Kiwi's in it, so I am concerned to connect with them and their challenges. Over the years, we have met many wonderful Kiwi's serving in the gospel in many parts of the world. But only recently have I begun to be aware of the unique role of Aotearoa New Zealand in the story of the gospel, and I only have guesses about the moment they are living in it. ![]() Missions Interlink is the association of mission-passionate organisations, churches, and individuals in Aotearoa New Zealand.
