Good morning. I recently spent an awesome few days with 25 Nursing Home Administrators.  We spent a lot of time reflecting on the past year and calling out our own and each other's accomplishments.  

When times are tough, it's helpful to be intentional in remembering all the positive things you've accomplished.

Elevate your operation 

The exercise we took the team through is called "stacking the wins."

Here's how it works.

Gather your team, big or small, in a room large enough for everyone to be standing and moving around.

Line the walls of the room with large posterboards or sheets of paper.

Give each team member a Sharpie and ask them to mingle around the room and write at least three accomplishments or successes, professionally and personally.

When the activity in the room begins to settle down, ask the group to take their seats.

Pick an area of the room to begin, and invite the team members who authored each accomplishment to speak to the success and what it means to their team and themselves.

Circle the room until you've covered each accomplishment and watch the group's excitement, pride, and mood rise through the process.
