MapVision free trial now available

Our new online data-mapping and collaboration tool has successfully passed through beta testing and is now live and available to try for free.

Browser-based and intuitive to use, MapVision can be used by anyone who needs to create map-based data, not just GIS experts. Maps and projects created in this way, or within Prospex, can be shared with anyone who has access to a web browser. Projects can be explored very easily online, ideal for sharing geographical analysis with clients and stakeholders who aren't data manipulation experts. The maps you create can be tailored to fit your brand or preferred theme, making it easy to display table data as intuitive maps to help make decisions.

For our 25th anniversary we’ve treated our website to a makeover and it now sports a new look and navigation. We’ve tried to make it easier than ever for clients to find the product or service they are after. It also includes more details of the features and capabilities of MapVision, along with our regularly updated blog and case studies pages. We think it is well worth a look, even if you have visited it recently.

Before GIS there was...

Our birthday has also made us a bit nostalgic, and our latest blog looks back at some of the earliest innovators in data mapping. Long before digital mapping, these forward-thinking individuals used geographic intelligence to get to grips with some of the biggest issues of their times.

Mapping more than you might expect

Question: What do trees, schools, GP surgeries, fire stations, and fibre optic lines have in common? Answer: We have been asked to map them all.

In 25 years working in location intelligence, we have been asked to map many and varied subjects. When you consider the additional complexity of demographic groups and audience propensities to certain things, the list gets even longer. Our clients have driven us to break new ground in geographic intelligence and we are proud to have risen to the challenge on every occasion. Thank you for the opportunity to challenge (and map) our boundaries. If we can help you with any new projects, please do get in touch. If you know anyone else we may be able to help, then please forward this email to them.

Thank you for your ongoing support.
