MORE EU STUDENT OFFERS FROM UK UNIVERSITIES

Dear student,
On Saturday, we sent you an email full of offers available at UK universities and promised to send you news of a whole lot more scholarships, bursaries and other fee discounts open to EU students starting in 2021. Well... we don't break our promises!
By the time you've read both emails, you'll know about 49 universities with EU offers. This is just a small selection of the amazing support schemes open to EU students at UK universities, new offers are opening every day too. Often universities will also be happy to discuss your circumstances one to one.
UK universities want to ensure that financial issues are never a barrier for talented, promising students. If the university of your dreams hasn't appeared in one of our emails, find their details on their website and contact them to explain your situation and find out what's available.
We hope you find something here that supports your study plans. Good luck with your application – remember, 15 January is the deadline for most undergraduate applications via UCAS!

SCHOLARSHIPS, BURSARIES AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT

UNIVERSITY OF ABERDEEN
EU undergraduate and postgraduate taught masters students who come to study at Aberdeen in 2021-22 will be eligible for new scholarships of up to £8,000 a year for the duration of their studies. These scholarships reconfirm the university’s commitment to its long-established European student community.

|
ABERTAY UNIVERSITY
From September 2021, EU and EEA domiciled students will be required to pay international tuition fees at Abertay, which range from £14,000-17,000 per academic year. Abertay are offering scholarships across all subject areas of £3,000 per academic year for undergraduate and postgraduate taught courses. Get in touch for more information!

ABERYSTWYTH UNIVERSITY
Aberystwyth offers students the chance to live in university-managed accommodation at no extra cost, with a scholarship worth up to almost £4,000. Depending on the building, your accommodation could be either totally free or discounted by £2,000. The International Accommodation Award is only applicable if you choose to live in university-managed accommodation.

ASTON UNIVERSITY
Aston University was named University of the Year by The Guardian in November 2020. They focus on creating a sustainable employability for students in an uncertain world and promote learning by doing, giving students the opportunity to gain valuable experience through placements, virtual internships and consultancy, with real employers with real problems. Aston offers a variety of scholarships between £2,000 to £8,000.

UNIVERSITY OF BATH
University of Bath has many scholarships available for overseas students including those from the EU. Discounts vary depending on the programme of study. Up to £8,000 are available for undergraduates in their first year of study and £5,000 for postgraduates. The university is ranked in the top ten in three UK university rankings and fifth for graduate prospects in the Complete University Guide 2021.

CANTERBURY CHRIST CHURCH UNIVERSITY
Canterbury Christ Church University offers an EEA National Transition Scholarship (2021-22) to EU and EEA students commencing their studies in September 2021. This will reduce the tuition fee for eligible students to the home (UK) fee level. The scholarship will apply to undergraduate and postgraduate students for the full duration of study.

CARDIFF UNIVERSITY
Cardiff's 2021 Vice-Chancellor's EU Scholarships offer funding awards to EU, EEA and Swiss students across undergraduate and postgraduate taught levels of study. Awards of £5,000 for each year of study are available to EU, EEA and Swiss students across a wide range of subject areas and will be offered in the form of a tuition fee discount.

COVENTRY UNIVERSITY WROCAW
Coventry University Wrocław is proud to offer Academic Merit Scholarships to the best and brightest EU students living in an EU country. A 20 per cent discount on the first year of tuition fees is available for students who achieve the highest results in their Matura exams or equivalent. This is an opportunity to study an English-taught vocational degree in Wroclaw, Poland, awarded by Coventry University.

UNIVERSITY FOR THE CREATIVE ARTS
The UCA Creative Europe Scholarship is for EU domiciled students starting studies in 2021-22. The discount varies depending on the course you study (up to £11,830) and will be applied as a tuition fee reduction for the duration of your course. The university automatically awards the scholarship to students who meet the eligibility criteria; you do not need to complete a separate application for it.

LONDON SOUTH BANK UNIVERSITY
LSBU is offering scholarships to EU students who will be paying 2021-22 international fees. These include international scholarships of £1,500; undergraduate merit scholarship of £3,000; and postgraduate merit scholarships of £4,000. You can only be awarded one scholarship. Each scholarship is automatically awarded when a course offer is made. The university also offers payment instalment plans for students.

THE UNIVERSITY OF MANCHESTER
The University of Manchester is committed to attracting the best and brightest students, irrespective of their backgrounds. They offer a range of scholarship funding to support students during their studies, normally awarded on academic merit. This funding contributes towards tuition fees. The university also provides advice to students to help them manage their finances... and would like to remind students that Manchester is one of the most affordable citiees in the UK!

MING-AI (LONDON) INSTITUTE
Ming-Ai (London) Institute has announced its Holland Kwok Scholarship, reducing fees from £9,000 to £6,500 for its International MA in Chinese Cultural Heritage Management. More than 50 students have benefited from this generous scholarship giving a pathway to a career in global heritage and museum management. Applications from diverse and mature students are welcome.

NEW COLLEGE OF THE HUMANITIES
NCH offers a number of prestigious scholarships to undergraduate students who show exceptional academic achievement and potential. All applicants for undergraduate degrees programmes are automatically considered for a scholarship; there's no separate application. International scholarships are worth up to £3,000 for students from the EU, EEA and Switzerland starting undergraduate studies in September 2021.

NORTHUMBRIA UNIVERSITY
Northumbria is delighted to offer its Northumbria EU Scholarship for students starting a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate degree in 2021-22. Eligible students will receive the scholarship as a fee discount of £6,750 for undergraduates and £6,550 for postgraduates for the duration of study. This scholarship is not applicable to applicants with ‘home’ fee status.

OXFORD BROOKES UNIVERSITY
Oxford Brookes are delighted to announce that they are offering scholarships of £4,000 to all EU students who wish to join in the academic year 2021-22. If you meet the criteria, the scholarship will be applied automatically as a discount to your tuition fees across all years of study.

|
UNIVERSITY OF PORTSMOUTH
Study on the south coast of the UK with over 4,000 international students, representing 150 countries. Portsmouth is just over an hour from London and enjoys an outdoors lifestyle by the sea. Portsmouth has confirmed that through their ‘Transition scholarship’, all EU residents starting their course in 2021 will have the same fees as home students for the full duration of their course.

UNIVERSITY OF READING
The University of Reading has allocated £200,000 in partial scholarships for international master’s students commencing their degree studies in the 2021-22 academic year. These awards are £4,000 each. Applications will open in December 2020 and close in July 2021. To be considered for a scholarship you first need to apply for your chosen master’s programme and receive an offer.

UNIVERSITY OF ROEHAMPTON
The university is delighted to offer a scholarship to all EU students joining an undergraduate degree or postgraduate masters course in September 2021. The scholarship means that EU students will automatically benefit from a fee discount to bring their fee in line with those of UK students (£9,250 for almost all full-degree undergraduate programmes at the university, while postgraduate fees vary).

SHEFFIELD HALLAM UNIVERSITY
Sheffield Hallam University are offering competitive scholarships and awards for EU (non-UK) students starting courses in September 2021 and January 2022. The Vice Chancellor’s Award offers EU-domiciled applicants a £3,000 automatic tuition fee bursary for full-time taught undergraduate or postgraduate courses. Transform Together Scholarships offer a half fee waiver (50 per cent discount) for undergraduate and postgraduate taught courses for the first year of study.

SOLENT UNIVERSITY
Solent will keep tuition fees for EU students starting in September 2021 the same as for UK students for the duration of their studies. The university is also pleased to offer a limited number of academic merit scholarships to EU and EEA students of up to the value of £1,000.

UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH WALES
The University of South Wales is committed to making fees for students as affordable as possible. They offer an attractive range of scholarships for EU students. Eligible EU students starting a course with USW in September 2021 will be automatically awarded a scholarship, which will bring the tuition fee amount in line with the fee paid by UK students. This will apply for the duration of your course.

York is a research-intensive university with a Gold Teaching Excellence Framework award for outstanding teaching, learning and outcomes for their students.
