Notice of AGM: Wednesday, March 25, 2020

Please be advised that the Annual General Meeting of the Bulkley Valley Research Centre will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2020. In advance of the meeting, we have a few reminders for our members:

  1. Board Elections: The BVRC is seeking additional board members for 2020/2021. Those with non-profit or accounting skills would be of particular benefit. If you wish to stand for election to the board, please send an email to info@bvcentre.ca by February 26th.
  2. Call for Resolutions: If you would like to propose a resolution to be presented at the AGM, please provide details to Executive Director Dawn Hanson no later than February 26th.
  3. Membership Renewal: It's time to renew your membership for 2020! You can renew online through PayPal, or in person at the AGM. Also feel free to visit us at the BVRC during office hours.

Stay tuned for more details about the AGM, including the evening's agenda. We will aim to send out the annual report in advance of the meeting for you to review.

BVRC Awards: Call for Nominations

We are calling for nominations for the Irving Fox Award, the Jim Pojar Award and the Volunteer Distinction Award, which recognize researchers, writers, activists, volunteers, or organizations that have made an outstanding contribution to sustainability in northwest BC.

Any BVRC member can nominate candidates for these awards (you can even nominate yourself). If you have an idea for a nomination, please contact us at info@bvcentre.ca. For more information on the nomination criteria for each of these awards, visit our website.

Deadline for nominations: February 12, 2020.

Seminar Series: Winter/Spring 2020
