Come and Try Time Trialling Day - Saturday 31 July

Its on again,!  If you missed out the first time here is another opportunity to  “Come and Try Time Trialling ” on Saturday, 31 July 2021.

Time Trialling can be done in boats of all shapes and sizes power or sail. Its such a great way to use your boats through the winter and an even better way of perfecting your boat handling skills as you strive for the perfect score of "zero points lost".

Learn the ropes from an experienced Skipper and Navigator or if you don’t have a boat, you can learn how to be a navigator for someone else.

Perth Flying Squadron "Cork Evans" Time Trial - Sunday 1 August

The PFSYC Cork Evans time trial is on this Sunday commencing at 10am.  The official deadline to enter has passed however late entries received today will be accepted. 

The Time Trial will be followed by Lunch and presentations.

If you wish to take part in this time trial, please email  reception@pfsyc.com.au no later than 5pm today.

If you wish to have a boat platter and/or stay on for the lunch, please indicate this in your email.

CPYC State Heat No. 6 at Royal Perth Yacht Club - Saturday 14 August

Royal Perth Yacht Club on behalf of the Cruising and Power Yacht Committee of WA (CPYC) invites power boats from RFBYC to compete in State Heat 6 on Saturday 14 August.

Entries close 1700 hrs on Wednesday 11 August.

RPYC will send start times and course information  to competitors via email  on Thursday 12 August.

RPYC also  invite you for lunch in the Wardroom prior to the event and for a raft up in Matilda Bay after.

RFBYC's ZM Zeffert Memorial Time Trial competing for the KYLIE CUP - Sunday 29 August

This is our big one so put the date in your diaries now and be part of this very special event.  This year’s time trial will also incorporate CPYC State Heat No. 7.

This was a fabulous event last year with over 50 boats taking part - it is sure to be very popular again this year.

Following the Time Trial, participants are invited to come back to the Club for the announcement of the day’s results followed by a  “Pig on the Spit” lunch.  The lunch is complimentary for skippers and navigators only.  Additional lunch bookings may be made for guests with your nomination.  Bookings are essential for catering purposes so please advise the number of people staying for lunch (including the skipper and navigator ) on your entry form.
