MyMethodist Patient Tablets Get New Language Assistance App
Starting Monday, March 22 On Monday March 22, MyMethodist Patient tablets systemwide will have a language assistance app. The new AMN/Stratus app will provide language assistance in all hospital rooms with just a tap on the tablet. Before, clinicians had to use and share iPad carts, rolling them into patients' rooms for language assistance. Now, they can quickly access the app at the patient’s bedside, allowing for better patient care and easy language-assistance documentation. Inpatient providers and clinicians - You must document when you’ve used language assistance.
- To learn about the AMN/Stratus language assistance app and documentation details, review this tip sheet.
- For questions, contact Travis Turner at tturner3@houstonmethodist.org or 713.441.1728.
