Our April newsletter No One Missed Campaign Launches to Drive Comprehensive Biomarker Testing in Non-small Cell Lung CancerLung cancer survival rates are rising in the U.S. thanks in part to advances in targeted therapies. But too many non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients who should receive comprehensive biomarker testing to inform their treatment options are slipping through the cracks. We are excited to announce the launch of the No One Missed campaign, a multi-year, community-led campaign that aims to drive comprehensive biomarker testing in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) to help people pursue optimal care. The campaign is a unique collaboration comprised of patient advocacy, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology organizations and has the potential to reach millions with its important message. The campaign includes an informational website (NoOneMissed.org) with downloadable resources, including how to talk to your healthcare provider about biomarker testing and a patient bill of rights. As part of the launch, LUNGevity is hosting a Facebook Live panel discussion about the campaign and comprehensive biomarker testing. The event will feature medical experts and a patient and her caregiver, who will share important information on what biomarker testing is and the difference it can make in the treatment decisions. RSVP and join us May 3 at 3:00 p.m. ET. You can learn more about the campaign and the importance of biomarker testing in the press release and on the website. We are grateful for the support of our founding partner, AstraZeneca, founding members, Amgen and Genentech, and all of the supporters who made this campaign possible.
