It's been a couple of weeks since we soft-launched WooJobs, our very own WordPress & WooThemes jobs board, aimed at bringing clients and designers / developers together to work on awesome WordPress & WooThemes projects.
This newsletter serves as the start of the second phase of WooJobs, and we'd like to tell you why you need to hop on over to WooJobs immediately and make it part of your weekly routine to either publish new jobs / projects on there or if you're a designer / developer, find awesome gigs to work on. Here's the low-down...
Are you a WordPress / WooThemes user?
Over time we've seen that more & more of you are customizing the default WooThemes considerably to suite your exact requirements thanks to the flexible WooFramework. Some of you lack the skills though. Luckily that's where WooJobs steps in to save the day.
WooJobs is the perfect place to advertise all of your WordPress or WooThemes projects (regardless of how big / small or the skill-level involved), part-time opportunities or even full-time employment gigs. It's all there.
From there we'll attempt to connect you with designers & developers, who have the right skills and experience to make your project completely Woo!
Designers & Developers: Meet your new clients!
The economy is down and it's always hard to find only the most awesome projects to be working on. We know - we've been there & done that. Unfortunately for us though, we didn't have WooJobs in those days and had to fend for ourselves.
The biggest challenge for designers & developers - especially freelancers and boutique agencies - is finding a steady & continuous flow of work to keep paying the bills. Word-of-mouth & referrals go a long way of course, but these to dry up at times (normally when you least expect / need it).
Whether you're simply looking for a few small projects (making minor modifications to a WooTheme) or are more serious and would like to take up a full-time employment gig designing & developing WordPress projects on a daily basis, we've got the opportunity waiting for you.
It's all in the WooCommunity
Niche communities are valuable for a very simple reason: give a bunch of awesome people a space to interact around the same, shared interest and magic happens. On WooJobs that magic is the fusion of WordPress & WooThemes.
The WooCommunity consists of more than 45 000 members, along with a few thousand more spectators that are sitting on the fence, looking in. The whole of WooThemes currently receives in excess of 2 million page page views per month, with more and more of that traffic trickling through to WooJobs.

Most leading job boards request payment to list your projects and jobs, but we're not all that fussed about charging for WooJobs. Instead we're just keen to nurture and grow a passionate community of clients, designers & developers, which in turn will create its own value.
We believe in WooJobs so much, we even use it ourselves to advertise new projects.
For the immediate future WooJobs will therefore be free and you can post as many listings as you wish without paying anything. All that's left is for you to get in on that action and post your project / job today. :)
