ALUMNI NEWSLETTER May 2012

Dear alumnus,

Welcome to the first issue of your Portsmouth Business School alumni newsletter.  We strongly believe that as a former MBA course member, your association with us need not end when you graduate.

We were delighted to welcome back former students from around the world in February at our first major MBA alumni event. We regularly hold events such as evening Hot Topic Seminars and public lectures – please see www.port.ac.uk/pbsevents for details as we would be very pleased if you could join us.  And don’t forget that as an MBA alumnus, you are entitled to join our Master Class Conference each summer at no charge (see further details in the newsletter).

As many of you are aware, we are currently preparing for the reaccreditation of our MBA by the Association of MBAs.  Part of this process has included a Career Progression Survey and I would like to thank all of you who have taken time out of your busy days to complete it.

One objective of Portsmouth Business School is to improve our alumni relations, and I am very pleased to launch this newsletter to help fulfil this goal. But our relationship need not be one sided – we would love to hear from you as well – where you are now, how your career has developed and any interesting stories you might care to share with us.  Please drop us a line to mba.alumni@port.ac.uk for possible inclusion in our next newsletter.
