THE BEES ARE SWARMING THE NORTHEAST THIS FALL!

The Beehive is gearing up for our fall tour season! Want to host the Hive? We are NOW BOOKING storytelling workshops throughout the northeastern US to share our newest graphic, Mesoamérica Resiste. From early October through mid-December, we will be winding our way through Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania.

Bring the Bees!

We'd love to come to your city, town, school, event, community center, or backyard, to share our storytelling graphics that connect the dots between social and environmental struggles. In our workshops and presentations, we use giant, portable murals to deconstruct complex global issues. Invite us for a presentation, workshop, classroom visit, tabling event, or a multi-day workshop to delve deeper into the graphic and learn how to use it in your own education and organizing work!

Cross-pollinating resistance from Mesoamerica to Maine

Mesoamérica Resiste illustrates stories of resistance, resilience, and solidarity from Mexico to Colombia. Detailed, hand-drawn scenes show communities exercising collective power to defend their land and traditions, and document a wide range of social movements that are organizing to stop large scale industrial development plans that come hand-in-hand with militarization, displacement, and privatization.

On this tour, we want to collaborate with folks who are organizing against similar megaprojects that threaten communities and ecosystems here in the Northeast. We will draw connections between local and global struggles, highlighting issues that cross borders such as pipelines, fracking, industrial wind farms, food sovereignty, migration, and the ongoing colonization of indigenous lands.
