IMPORTANT DATES & DEADLINES

Registration for Summer Sessions Begins February 16

Are you undecided about an academic major or specialized field of study? Do you need to complete general education requirements or prerequisite courses? Would adding a second major, minor, or certificate complement your academic experience and enhance your professional opportunities?

Summer sessions at the University of Pittsburgh provide an exciting opportunity for you to catch up on needed credits, stay on track, or get ahead of schedule for the fall term. Summer sessions classes are designed to help you reach your educational goals no matter where you are in your academic career.

During the summer term, you can complete general education or specialized requirements, finish core and prerequisite courses, or enroll in popular courses and labs that fill quickly during the academic year. Summer sessions also provide opportunities to explore subjects in a major without the pressure of a full class load. Best of all, you can choose between hundreds of courses offered during flexible 4-week, 6-week, and 12-week sessions without forgoing summer jobs, internships, or family vacations.

Registration begins February 16. For more information on specific course offerings in all disciplines, please talk with your advisor and visit www.courses.as.pitt.edu.

Monday, February 16: Summer term enrollment period begins

Saturday, February 28: Honors Convocation

Friday, March 6: Spring term deadline for students to submit Monitored Withdrawal forms to the dean's office
