This week is Children's Mental Health Awareness Week and the theme this year is "Let's Connect". Mental health is an essential part of everyone's overall wellbeing and WJEC are committed to working with teachers to build a better understanding of the mental health and wellbeing needs of our children and young people, in order to create a classroom environment where they can feel supported and safe.

In a world so centered around connectivity, this week is a great opportunity to reach out and open up a conversation about the many ways in which mental health can be maintained and improved in the classroom. With the help of WJEC's student wellbeing hub, and the wealth of resources on the Place2Be website, let us support you to connect with your class to provide them with the support they need to be mentally healthy and happy.
