English Partnerships

Our vision is to enable people to achieve more for themselves and their communities by raising the standards of English for all

We are committed to building connections between India and the UK that enable us to share our expertise in English language teacher education and development, teaching, learning and assessment. Over the last six years, the British Council has worked in partnership with 12 state governments to train over 8,070 Master Trainers and teacher educators who have provided training for nearly 836,190 teachers.

In each edition we will share information about:

  • partnership opportunities
  • research collaborations
  • English language development projects
  • digital developments in ELT
  • events and professional development opportunities.
