CSJ announces new Managing Director
The CSJ is delighted to announce that its Director of Policy, Christian Guy, will begin as Managing Director from 1st May 2012. Christian takes over from Gavin Poole who has been appointed to a new CEO role in London. Read more in the Londoner’s Diary, of this week’s Evening Standard
Break the state monopoly on mental health, says latest CSJ report
The NHS is failing to offer the mentally ill a full choice of psychological counselling and therapies, according to the CSJ’s major new report Commissioning Effective Talking Therapies. The report was launched in the Sunday Express and was warmly welcomed by the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
