Today is World Hemophilia Day!
Today, thousands of families around the world recognize World Hemophilia Day to raise awareness and encourage the development of improved treatment for all those living with a bleeding disorder.
In 1989, the World Federation of Hemophilia chose April 17th as World Hemophilia Day to honor its founder, Frank Schnabel, on his birthday. The purpose of this day continues to focus attention on the importance of comprehensive health care for all. Join us and the rest of the bleeding disorders community as we stand together and call for better treatments and quality of life for those living with a bleeding disorder!
