Although rooted in the Anabaptist-Mennonite traditions of peacemaking, service, and community, the majority of EMU nursing students do not belong to the Mennonite Church USA. In fact, students enrolled across EMU nursing programs and beyond represent a wide range of faith traditions, including students who do not embrace any particular faith. Regardless of your beliefs, you are welcome here! EMU's online Doctor of Nursing Practice program understands the complexities of today's world and appreciates the many demands placed on your time and resources. That is why we have partnered with Goshen College to offer an innovative, online DNP program to meet the needs of the whole person--the clinician, the parent, the Sunday school teacher, and the PTA volunteer. Our flexible and affordable DNP program allows students to complete their degree in as little as 22-months without sacrificing their family or career. Online courses combined with limited in-person residencies allow you the flexibility to study and work on your own time while still providing the support and sense of community that comes from the cohort model of learning. Scheduled to begin January 2018, this online doctoral program is rooted in Anabaptist values, preparing nursing professionals to serve and lead within a dynamic healthcare system while utilizing innovative problem-solving, servant leadership, and effective stewardship of resources. High professional and academic standards are without question as we educate our students to bring patients and healthcare systems to wholeness and healing. Embrace your call to service by expanding your knowledge and experience with EMU's DNP program. You are welcome here, and we are here to support you every step of the way. Apply today!
