PhoneGap and the Apache Software Foundation (ASF)

We're excited to tell you that the PhoneGap code was contributed to the Apache Software Foundation (ASF) last month! It is currently under incubation under the name Apache Callback until it can become a full Apache project.

Through the ASF, future PhoneGap development will ensure open stewardship of the project and it will always remain free and open source under the Apache License, Version 2.0.

Find out why Harris chose PhoneGap and how it helped him create his app.
