Reminder: Clear Out Your On-site WorkstationsReminder: Thursday, April 15 is the deadline to clear out your workstations for anyone moving out of the first floor at Holly Hall and/or anyone at Bellaire Place. Take home any personal items and any additional equipment that you need from your workstation to make your remote office more comfortable (e.g., monitors, docking station, keyboard, etc.). Make note of the equipment and serial number for anything you take – you will be asked to log this in MARS at a future date. Note: Chairs, office furniture and supplies are excluded from this and cannot be removed from a building. For questions, contact Krissy Scott. IT New Employee Orientation (NEO)The next IT NEO will be held virtually via Teams on Monday, May 17. Currently, we have eight invitees. If you have new employees who were unable to attend our last session in March or who may be joining soon, send their names to Marcella Fewox. Based on participant feedback, the orientation will be a full day event starting with introductions of our VPs and allowing more time for presenters to take a deeper dive. As usual, we'll meet with a representative from HR and each of our five groups (Clinical and Ancillary, Corporate Systems and Innovation, Technology and Shared Services, Security and Assurance, and Ambulatory and Physician Support). Disaster Recovery Drill a SuccessOn Saturday, March 27, we completed another successful disaster recovery (DR) drill, but this was no ordinary drill. This was our very first virtual drill, made possible via Teams. Quarterly DR drills are important to assess our emergency response readiness, in the event of a real emergency. It’s also essential to test our systems and processes, so we can learn and continue to make improvements. Thank you to everyone who participated and congratulations on a successful event!
