For those attending the National Down Syndrome Congress Annual Convention this week, here's a short guide to finding our resources at the conference and some information about our partners.
Physical copies of Down Syndrome Pregnancy's Diagnosis to Delivery: A Pregnant Mother's Guide to Down Syndrome and Your Loved One Is Having a Baby with Down Syndrome
will be available at the Woodbine House booth, along with their entire collection of books about Down syndrome. If you don't already have a copy of Gifts or Gifts 2 edited by Kathryn Lynard Soper, we also highly recommend those titles for new and expectant parents.
Lettercase materials will also be available for a special, promotional discount at the Down Syndrome Guild of Greater Kansas City's booth, along with DVDs of their beautiful video, Just Like You. Anyone can pick up a free National Center pass along card to share with a medical office. Lettercase's Understanding a Down Syndrome Diagnosis for expectant parents will also be on sale for $7 each, and
Delivering a Down Syndrome Diagnosis for medical providers will be on sale for $1.50 each (both limited to 5 per guest) at the KCDSG booth. That way anyone at the conference can get a few to share with their medical providers who can keep them on hand for patients. Also, anyone wearing a Sevenly shirt from the recent Lettercase campaign receives a free expectant parent book!
Enjoy your time in Denver!
All proceeds from book sales are paid to the University of Kentucky’s Human Development Institute and are used to support the cost of the National Center, including the distribution of materials and medical outreach. In addition, all National Center resources are always free digitally.
