A newsletter from New Founding No images? Click here Issue No. 32 | October 21, 2021 Greetings,A few issues back, we covered Biden’s vaccine mandate power grab and explored ways to fight back when the regime is trying to control every part of your life: mind and body. Thankfully, there is some good news to report. Southwest Airlines employees peacefully protested the vaccine mandate, compelling the CEO to announce nobody will be fired for refusing to get the jab. The company even walked back their plan to put unvaccinated employees on unpaid leave. Music festival Coachella scrapped its mandate set for 2022. LSU dropped its mandate for football games. Popular resistance is beginning to mount. Companies and other organizations are starting to realize that—no matter what the federal government may want—they can’t boss their employees and their customers around. If you want to be an active part of this movement to build a new economy that respects workers and makes America stronger, New Founding is looking for a Live Events Producer based in Dallas-Fort Worth who can design and scale up a perpetual series of events. This person will have a large degree of autonomy to create meetups that build up local communities aligned with our mission. Are you interested? Reach out to us at jp@principalinv.com. The Better AlternativeNew Founding isn’t the only organization looking to hire. The truth is, you don’t have to work for a company that rejects your values. We already featured Red Balloon and the 50,000-member “No Vax Mandate Job Board” on Gab as worthwhile tools to help you find a job that doesn’t require you to submit to the radical leftwing orthodoxy. And more job boards and job search platforms are popping up by the week. For example, there’s the No Vax Mandate Job Board with a wide array of jobs across sectors. The Freedom Job Network likewise has hundreds of jobs with employers that are resisting the vaccine mandate. Or there’s Jobs Not Jabs that could help you find the perfect fit at a company that won’t treat you like trash. Start your search now. You don’t have to work for somebody that hates you. Business SpotlightEven West Coast brands with worldwide prestige are taking a stand against the fascist mandates. The renowned California, Christian-owned burger chain In-n-Out had it’s only restaurant in San Francisco shut down for refusing to require vaccine passports for its customers. In-n-Out didn’t mince words in its response to the heavy hand of the state: “We refuse to become the vaccination police for any government. We fiercely disagree with any government dictate that forces a private company to discriminate against customers who choose to patronize their business. This is a clear government overreach.” Amen! Also, just last week, Intel published a detailed Covid-19 policy. In it, not only do they forbid managers from demanding that their employees submit their vaccination status, they also follow the science and treat people with Covid antibodies the exact same as people with the vaccine when it comes to things like travel regulations. Intel’s CEO Pat Gelsinger (formerly at VMWare) is a vocal Christian and has given a substantial percentage of his income to charity. Looks like there is still some fighting spirit left in California. The Bigger PictureOne of the most important aspects of Biden's "mandate" is that – technically – it does not exist. It's a threat, thus far made predominantly through press statements, "to impose the public perception of a mandate," according to this essential piece by Joy Pullmann, Executive Editor of The Federalist. The federal government likely knows their desired vaccine mandate is illegal and would be immediately, substantially challenged in court. They also knew that nearly every major corporation would throw their employees and customers under the bus if told to. So the Biden Administration’s cowardly solution was to deliberately sidestep the Constitution. Pullman quoted a reader: "The mandate’s nonexistence shields the Biden administration from legal challenges that may ultimately restrict the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s authority. Yet the mandate is still effective at compelling industries and companies into compliance [...] This implied cudgel is particularly effective on industries and companies that are dependent on federal spending or the goodwill of federal regulators.” There has never been a greater need for businesses, consumers, and politicians to be brave and do what's right. That's why we're focused on building a community of Americans who agree. Do you know a business or business owner that should be featured in ALIGN? Let us know!
