Email Inbox Limit – Tips on Cleaning Your InboxDid you know most email inboxes have a limit of 2 GB? That means that if you aren’t regularly cleaning out your inbox you'll eventually reach full capacity and be blocked from being able to receive or send emails. Follow these tips on a regular basis to prevent this from happening: 1. Assign a Retention Policy to individual senders. This sets expiration dates for emails from this sender. To do this, right-click on an email from this sender and hover over Assign Policy. Now click the Retention Policy that you want. You can select to automatically delete these emails after a week, 30 days, six months, one year or five years. Note: You can set
this for personal folders too. Same steps, just right-click on any personal folders.
2. Filter emails based on Size and save any large files to your OneDrive (File>Save As>OneDrive). Once you’ve saved relevant files, delete the emails you no longer need. These emails take up the most inbox space.
3. You can also filter by Sender and delete emails that are no longer relevant. Right-click the downward arrow and select Delete.
For All HMTW ICU, MedSurg, OR and PACU Nurses, Radiology Techs and Outpatient Infusion Centers
Check Infusion Pump Inspection StatusPlease check the color-coded inspection stickers on the infusion pumps and brains before using them to ensure the status is current and consistent when used together. Pumps and brains should have corresponding inspection stickers (blue with blue, green with green). Mismatched devices will not work together. These stickers are required by DNV and important for patient safety. Devices with a blue sticker were inspected in 2021 and are good until 2022. A green sticker on a pump or brain indicates the device was last inspected in 2020. Bring these devices to your HMTW Biomed department, as soon as possible for annual maintenance. Contact HMTW Biomed department with any questions
and/or if your pump is missing either a maintenance sticker or the barcode to be used for the upcoming integrated infusion project.
