Gypsy Ballads with Schola Cantorum
You are cordally invited to join the 12 voices of Schola Cantorum, Frederick Jodry Director, and myself in a concert performance of 'Romancero Gitano (Gypsy Ballads)' by Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco.
Castelnuovo-Tedesco considered Romancero Gitano to be one his most "authentic" works, and "one of the most beautiful for guitar" (Una vita di musica). This 20" composition is not performed often enough, and our September performance at Brown University was standing room only, so come early and join us!
