VENICE, CA, APRIL 27, 2011: A sticky challenge was given to the participants of the Blik x Doodlers Anonymous "Doodle our Wall" showcase in March. With the direction of "our wall is your canvas," doodling addicts were encouraged to draw something amazing and place it on a photo of the Doodlers Anonymous' studio wall.

Blik, the innovative maker of self-adhesive surface graphics and Doodlers Anonymous, the online community for those who share the constant need to draw, sketch and doodle teamed up for the showcase as a synergy between the like-minded brands.

While the original idea was to have one drawing turned into a limited edition Blik wall decal, after reviewing all 99 submissions, Blik and Doodlers Anonymous chose to crown three winners. The popular vote winner chosen by the Doodlers Anonymous community and two "Editor's Picks" chosen by Blik and Doodlers Anonymous.

"I love the concept of an online community that generates, shares and encourages new art," said Blik co-founder, Scott Flora. "Blik looks to partner with like-minded brands and Doodlers Anonymous fit with our design sensibilities. Picking the winners was not an easy decision to make with several worthy designs that captured the spirit of Blik, but we are happy with the results."

Based on the number of votes, Harikrishnan Panicker's "Rock.Pop.Death" was selected as the fan favorite and will be printed as a limited 100-piece run. The two Editor Picks: "Irregular Mesh" by Camila León and "The Trip" by Michelle Lasalvia will be printed as limited edition 50-piece runs. All three artists will receive their personal Blik wall graphic, a $75 Blik gift certificate and a Blik tee.

"The response to this showcase was incredible," said Doodlers Anonymous editor, Rony Tako. "We received more submissions than any other showcase. That number alone tells you the extreme creativity and excitement that was brought to this challenge. We would happily work with Blik again and look forward to seeing how people respond to pieces as wall graphics."
