First Floor Business Centre Almost Fully Let
Hurstwood’s sister company Crystal has signed-up two new tenants for its Mosley Street Business Centre.
Chiropractor James O’Dell has taken an 18 month lease on suite 3 in the first floor business centre.
While specialist clinical research organisation Dootsonic has taken up a 12 month lease on suite 5.
We are delighted with the current level of interest in the offices on Mosley Street. All seven offices on the first floor business centre are currently either let or under offer. Works to create additional small suites on the third floor are due to start this month.

Stephen Ashworth climbs North Africa's highest montain
Stephen Ashworth, Chairman of North West property companies Hurstwood and Crystal, is once again at his peak for charity after scaling the highest mountain in North Africa.
Mr Ashworth completed the trek to the summit of Mount Toubkal in Morocco to raise funds for Derian House Children’s Hospice in Chorley.
This year’s trek involved a six day hike up to the summit of the mountain, altitude 4200m, three of which were spent above 3,000 m.
It is the second major African mountain Stephen has climbed in two years after his ascent of Kilimanjaro back in 2010. He has now climbed the highest peaks in both northern and Southern Africa.

In the past, Stephen has also completed a hike up Mount Blanc and cycling treks through India, The Canadian Rockies, The Grand Canyon and across Jordan.
These challenges, as well as other charity events and activities, have seen Stephen and the company raise well over £150,000 for Derian House and £100,000 for other charities taking his total to £250,000.

Crystal Submit New Worksop Nightclub Plans

New late-night venue planned
Crystal, sister company to property investor Hurstwood, have submitted plans to bring a new late night venue to Worksop at their landmark Crown House building.
The planning application was made earlier this month to create a nightclub on the 6,000 sqft ground floor of the building.

Worksop is crying out for a new club and we believe that Crown House provides the ideal location. It is a prominent landmark building in the centre of Worksop town. Plans have been drawn up and we hope to be able to confirm approval in September.

The building, originally the site of the town’s cinema, was most recently used for government offices and has undergone a major refurbishment since being acquired by Crystal in 2010.

New tenant at landmark town centre building
Hurstwood have a new tenant at their landmark Marshall House office building in Preston city centre.
The company have agreed a deal to rent half of the building’s third floor.
Consumer Focus Direct produces the CFD Guide, which features money saving tips and expert advice. Their partners include Tesco, Starbucks and Orange.

We searched vigorously to find an office that would be suitable for growth, client hospitality, staff morale and most importantly recruitment. We decided that Marshall House had all the elements we were looking for and the level of service we received from Hurstwood was second to none.
