Terroir/Region: Grown in the worn slate soils of the Mosel Valley of Germany, Ars Vitis captures some of the most famed grapes in the country, and some of the hardest to farm. Many vineyards are planted on steep to what-the-heck-are-you-thinking kind of steep slopes. Rain hitting these vines mostly runs downhill, giving the vines only what they need to ripen their impeccable fruit.
Producer: Moselland began in 1968 when local grape growers banded together to make their wine. Because of this, Moselland is able to source grapes from all over the top production regions of Germany in order to deliver great quality Riesling at an amazing price. The farmers are also the owners, so each farmer pays close attention to the harvest in order to draw out the finest flavour from the grapes.
