May Member of the Month

We are happy to introduce our May Member of  the Month, Jack Little.  Jack has been a member of the Academy since its inception in 2006. He believes that people should never stop learning because it helps us to stay young. There are so many interesting topics out there to learn about and Jack wants to learn them all!

His hobbies include photography and travel. Travel is a learning experience in itself because it requires immersing yourself in a different culture; his last big trip was to Ireland in 2012. One of his favorite memories at the Academy was touring the WEIU TV and Radio station. Jack recommends the Academy to all his friends and family!  Thanks, Jack!  You rock!

The workshop is about life planning, and focuses on the social and emotional elements of retirement that require thoughtful and intentional planning to prevent conflict and frustration.

Take this opportunity to evaluate what has influenced your decision to retire, as well as who you are and what roles are important to your identity. Work with facilitators to create goals and objectives that will facilitate positive and successful aging.
