Summer in KwaZulu Natal – hot days followed by wonderful thunderstorms and rain. It is incredible how quickly the rolling hills turn green after those first rains.

Our Chapel Our chapel is looking incredible; it is really going to be a magical place to get married in – over looking the dam with the water running underneath it, the high thatched roof will give the most wonderful feel – like a cathedral in the bush. When I popped up there the other day I was delayed by the number of birds around the dam and a herd of wildebeest grazing on the hill opposite.

iNsingizi/Graemor Trail Runs Our iNsingizi/Graemor Trail runs have been a huge success with the race size getting larger each race. We are really lucky to have a fantastic team building awesome new tracks which mean that each race had a section or more of new trails and tracks. The large number of lucky draw prizes and prizes for the winners of each race make this race one worth running – we look forward to having Graemor Life Style Accountants on board again next year and want to take this opportunity to thank them for their support in making this a race that we know is going to become one not to miss. Wedding Celebrations Congratulations to Lisa and Geoff, Tanya and Shaun, Leonard and Kristy who all celebrated their weddings with us. It always amazes me that each couple transforms the lodge into something uniquely theirs, from roses to proteas, glass to wood it all creates a start to  a wonderful occasion. Good Food and Wine Show iNsingizi headed off to the Good Food and Wine show in Durban this year, what fun. We ran a competition with Tasha’s Fantastic Fudge – with the winner of the competition winning a night spa for 2 at iNsingizi.  We are looking forward to welcoming Ina Venter to the lodge soon.

Christmas Opportunities We are into the last quarter of 2012 – yes yes I know – where has the year gone! So before it really gets away with us, it is time to start thinking about year end,  Christmas and all the wonderful people in our lives that we want to spoil and thank for making our world a better place.
