VENICE, CA, SEPTEMBER 15, 2011: Blik, the innovative maker of self-adhesive surface graphics, is excited to announce their newest artist collaboration with San Francisco fine artist Rex Ray and his R2 Lab. Inspired by Ray's original artwork, the wall graphics embody his signature mid-century modern aesthetic with abstract images and hand-cut shapes. The collaboration is a result of mutual admiration between the two parties.
According to Ray, "What's intriguing to me about Blik wall decals is that it's an amazing way for people to use the Rex Ray aesthetic and vocabulary in a personalized way, to create their own pieces that brighten and add dimension to the walls of their home, offices, or really any space they'd like!"
The initial Rex Ray/R2 Lab collection for Blik includes: A Mutual Bond, Skyline Rhythm, Spontaneous Horizon and Beyond the Borough. The minimalist designs are sure to add a cool modern flair to walls and make having museum quality art at home much more affordable.
"We think Rex's playful and always identifiable style will resonate with our core customers, as well as excite Rex's passionate fan base," said Scott Flora, Blik co-founder.
The four Rex Ray graphics are now available at Blik. High-res images available. Email email@example.com
