2017 was the first year the MACS Tradeshow was held in Anaheim, California—and it was a success for T/CCI. This year’s theme, Mobile AC: Global Service Horizons, explored changes in the near future for service shops with new refrigerant and automotive technology impacting mobile A/C service and repair. Thirty-six industry experts weighed in including T/CCI’s Dick Ennis. Ennis presented, “Solving the HD ‘No Cooling’ Crime,” on how to change the “old school” paradigm of service methods that forego asking questions and collecting data. At the booth, the QP40 bus compressor and new air brake compressor drew significant interest from current and prospective customers.
During the show, Dan Spurgeon of Caterpillar, a loyal T/CCI customer, was presented with the Pioneer Award. The Pioneer Award recognizes individuals who have made outstanding career contributions to the mobile A/C and heat transfer industry. Congratulations, Dan!
