Bella Vista - Updates

Bella Vista - Christchurch

Work has begun on repairing the buildings at Bella Vista Christchurch following on from the earthquakes.  Graeme and Janice are facing a few months of disruption, however the EQC repair work is now about half completed. They are hopeful that final completion will be mid to late September. The apartments are still open for business and those with current bookings are being upgraded to these.

Bella Vista - Fox Glacier

Bill & Jill have reported that after 8 ½ months the rebuild is nearly completed.  It has been a long process and has occupied a considerable amount of their time, however, the carpet has recently been being laid and next week will see minor electrical work completed. Following this the Building Inspector will carry out his final check and hopefully consent will be issued soon after that. 

The next stage is the final clean and waiting for the drapes, beds etc to be supplied and delivered.  With no unforeseen holdups they plan to be fully operational within the next 3 – 4 weeks.
