Tasting Notes: The Beachhouse Rosé is made from 100% Pinotage, the signature grape of South Africa. This wine leads with aromas of red cherries, strawberries and rose petals which reoccur on the palate along with juicy raspberries and hints of Turkish delight. It’s delicious from the first sip through the lingering finish.

Terroir/Region: The Western Cape region of South Africa is broken into several smaller districts, each with its own personality and winegrowing strengths. Producer: The Beachhouse Rosé is made by Douglas Green Wines, one of the long-standing, modern wine companies in South Africa (the ‘older’ wineries can date back to the 1600s). Douglas Green started the company over 75 years ago with an extensive knowledge of the Cape’s wine regions, a great understanding of regional blending, and a unique ability to tune-in to consumer desires. His pioneering spirit is still alive and well in the winery’s current team and the wines they are making.
