A fresh face for CGS

Beginning July 7, CGS and its associated units—the McCarl Center, the Office of Veterans Services, and the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute—will relocate to a new signature space on the first floor of Posvar Hall. The move will provide CGS students with improved access to the rich intellectual resources of the University, CGS staff and support services, essential amenities such as parking and libraries, and designated spaces for tutoring, quiet study, and lounges.

OPPORTUNITIES

Pitt FSAE recruiting new members for project

The Formula Society of Automotive Engineers (FSAE) is recruiting students from across Pitt’s campus who are interested in design, manufacturing, budget and finance, film and media, and project management.

FSAE is an engineering design and project management organization. Each academic year, they design, manufacture, and race an open-wheeled racecar from scratch. The team participates in an annual competition against over 100 other engineering schools.

The team is also looking for the best drivers Pitt has to offer to drive the car during testing and the competition at Michigan International Speedway. Any students, especially with prior driving experience, interested in driving should fill out an application.

For more information or to get started (they design and teach all summer!), please e-mail pitt.fsae.hr@gmail.com.
