SMARTTool is a web-based, carbon emissions inventory and reporting tool that provides a standardized approach to calculating and reporting an organization’s corporate greenhouse gas emissions.
Local governments who sign on to use SMARTTool before October 14, 2011 will receive a 50% reduction in their first year costs!
SMARTTool offers local governments a number of benefits including:
- a consistent approach for calculating and reporting corporate GHG emissions inventories
- one-on-one training and ongoing support to set up and manage a customized emissions profile

free workshops and webinars for local governments in June on the 4-steps to carbon neutrality.
